At the conclusion of their performance dancers will be released back to parents in the audience to enjoy the remainder of the show.
QUICK CHANGES: Dancers who have more than one routine within any given show will have access to our backstage quick-change area. Dance Elite has rented four 10x10 pop up tents to provide backstage dressing room access for our dancers. These rooms will be shared throughout, and we ask that dancers wear a nude/skin-tone leotard under any costumes for changing purposes, if they desire.
MASKS: Masks will be required by all dancers and event attendees. Given that this is a larger event, the majority of our dancers are not vaccinated, and families signed on for the event prior to the new CDC mask guidelines, we are honoring our originally stated policy and asking all attendees to stay masked throughout the entirety of our event to ensure the safety of our dancers and each other.
COSTUMES Costumes are here and it’s tempting to play with, but we want to ensure that the costumes are kept in perfect condition for the recital. Therefore, please put the costume away and out of reach so that it will not be played with or get ruined in any way. If possible, it is best to hang costumes up in order for them not to wrinkle. Dancers are not allowed to eat or play in their costume prior to the recital. No costumes will be replaced if mishandled.
FLOWERS: Families can pre-order flowers for their dancers by sending payment via Venmo to Dance Elite. We have $20, $30, and $40 bouquets available for pre-purchase. A limited supply will be available on site. Order in advance to secure your bouquet.
FOOD TRUCKS: Dance Elite has arranged to have Food Trucks on site throughout the day! Families will be able to choose grab food on site before or after shows. We will be sharing additional trucks as they sign on for the event!
